Can you believe I'm five months old??

Mommy can't!!!

Typical deer in the headlights look whenever I bring out the camera but I thought she looked so big and cute in her outfit that I had to post it. We need to visit Ms. Paige soon so we can get some good pictures instead of this look!

I love these last two pictures for two reasons: I think the rosy cheeks are cute and these were taken at my parents' house on a blanket that I spent many hours on and under when I was little.

January's Already Gone!?!

I can't believe how fast time flies! I feel like January was the craziest month. Between two colds (three now since another one has struck) and the whole ordeal with my dad, I have been a slacker on pictures. I have taken several with my phone since we have been out and about so much without my camera but don't have the cord to transfer them to the computer (mine is in the storage unit and Sandy's is nowhere to be found). So....here are a few that show her personality! She has quite the faces and a temper that is promising to make me pay for my raising. Don't know where she got that! I promise to do better and will post more pics later (hopefully when Sandy is not in bed and can find her phone cord for me).

Thanks for all of your prayers and phone calls about my dad. He finally got to go home today after a two week three day ordeal. Hopefully he can get lots of rest now that he's able to sleep in his own bed!

On another note, it's officially been one year to the day that my world was rocked and I found out that the life I was living was a complete sham. I am constantly reminded how faithful God is and how far he has brought me. In so many ways I am a happier, more complete, more real person- and only God can make that happen out of something so yucky...Blessed Be The Name of the Lord!!!

On to pics of my sweet girl!

Love the look on her face! She's so rotten! Thanks cousin Carly for the bib- you should wear yours and we could get a matching picture!

This is her "I know that at this point I can get away with ANYTHING" face.

First experience with cereal. She wasn't quite sure what to make of it. This is also her constant hand in the mouth look that she sports. Kind of making her speech therapist mother a little nervous about the thumb sucking:) (not condemning any thumb suckers- just as a speechie it's something that I've always wanted to avoid with my child)

Enough already! No really, she is eating like a champ. We've added some veggies and starting to add fruits and there has been nothing that my child has turned away. Don't know where she gets that either!
